Francis Mac Quillan (now dead) is supposed to have seen a liprecann mending a shoe. He was about to catch hold of him when a stone falling of the wall nearby arrested his attention and when he looked again the fairy was gone. Also a little woman was supposed to sleep under a thorn in Brannaganstown lane. A fairy train was supposed to go up and down the "Great Northern" line on certain nights.
