3. In the graveyard of Dromin there are ruins of an old church which is believed to be knocked in the time of Cromwell. Also some distance away from it there is a ridge and tradition has it that St Columcille built his first monastery there. There is also two or three trees growing there but in former times they were more numerous. Also in the old ruins of the church there are many people buried.
