  1. 1. There are different kinds of churns, there are dash churns, and churns that you twist. We have a dash churn and the way to churn with it is to pull the dash up and down.
    2. When the churning is finished the butter comes up on the dash. Then the butter is taken out of the churn and the milk that is left is called butter milk. Butter milk is used for making bread and it is very nice to drink in the Summer.
