- 1. There is an old gravestone in the Protestant churchyard. It is there since 1754.
2. There is also an old church on the main road from Dunleer to Drogheda up at Kieran's Cross. The people say that Mass would only be said there on odd times because the English would kill them, they call it, "Ceartog".
