    3. On the southern side of Dunleer there is a place called "Atá Clair", and on it remains the ruins of an old Castle. The old people up at "Ata Clair" say that it was owned by an "Irish Chieftain", and that at the time of the plantation it was gave to protestants called "Slownes" and that those are their decendants who are in it to day.
