    None of these trades are carried out by these families now- In fact the district is singularly devoid of trades like that.
    There is one mill for grinding wheat and oats- with and over-shod wheel- It belongs to Drumcar estate & the present miller is Albert Parkes. The wheaten meal made here was considered the best in the county and 50 yrs ago. Streams of carts were to keep coming to and going from it every day-
    The mill is falling into disrepair and it is feared that it will soon be unfit for use-
    The stones for grinding were got from the bed of some river in France, at least so the miller says.
