- At Rokeby Hall - Dunleer - a carriage drawn by four headless horses and driven by headless coachman goes through the gates every night at the same time - even though the gates were most carefully locked prior to this.
The procession proceeds in exactly the same manner each time - right through the gates and after a short time - back again, noiselessly but steadily back to coach-house.and stable to rest till the following night.
