  2. Once upon a time a man was coming by the Ballybuile road from town. He was very late. When he was half-way home he saw that it was not his own bicycle he had with him, and he did not know whether to go back or to go home. Finally he decided to go home.
    On his way he heard a noise as of chains and saw something very white in the ditch. When he was near it he got off his bicycle and walked along the side of the road. It was the custom that time that two men used
