    and which is called the Green Road.
    There is a cross down on the Heynestown rad which is called the Mass cross. It was put there during the Penal Times. There is a ford in Ardee when Cucuhlain and Ferdia fought and where Cucuhlain killed Ferdia.
    There is a cross near Knockbridge where a little boy was killed by a steam-roller many years ago. there is a lane called Cooks lane near Mr Leary's, where people once lived but sometimes the gipsies lived on
    There was a Mass path many years ago leading from Boyle's corner to the Chapel.
