    Winter and leaving in Summer, while the swallow, the cuckoo and corncrake come in Summer and go to warmer countries during Winter.
    The robin builds its nest in hedges, banks, and holes in walls. The wren builds a little round nest with a tiny hole through which it passes in and out. The swallow usually builds in barns, under the eaves of houses, and in old houses and ruins. The favourite nest hunt of the lark is in the meadow of young corn. A crow is very wise and so he chooses a very high tree where no one can get at it to rob it. The jackdaw foolishly builds his nest in chimneys and they are often destroyed. The corncrake builds in long grass and then when the grass is being cut the young ones are often killed by the scythe or mowing machine. The corncrake is
