The McInoys here have the cure for Erasypalis.
The seventh son - who never saw his father - has the cure of the Thrush or dirty mouth in children.
Cure for sore eye. Ten gooseberry thorns. One is thrown over the shoulder, and each of the other nine is pointed at the affected part while the following words are used - for each thorn :-Dearc, Dearc, thug ó De cnuimh cnuimh cnuimh thug ó de dearc. spíonán
These words are from memory. I heard them when I was a child.
