    to the ghost. All the ghost muttered was "begone". The man quilted as fast as his legs could carry him until he came to Crotty's house. He struck a couple of kicks on the door but he heard no answer.(no) The reason he did not get an answer was because the Crotty's had a son and he was a terrible straggler and (he) the Crottys thought it was their son. The man ran away and he never stopped running until he ran in home, and it is said that he did not get up out of the bed for a fortnight.
