    It is said that everybody should bless themselves when they come to where three or four roads meet.
    Continued from Previous Page :
    of their daughters or one of their sisters to work on the road while they were sowing the spuds. The girls earned a penny each by carrying spades and the other implements to the workers. They earned the penny very easily and the farmer had to spend a few months working hard sowing his spuds. Then the farmer earned a penny for every day of the year except Sunday that he worked in the board of work and he had his potatoes and crops sown and reaped in due time in Autumn.
