Long ago the old people wouldn't like to have two doors open on a Sunday straight each other while Mass was going on. There was an old man cleaning his boots between the two doors one Sunday and clothes brushed his face as he crept down.So he was thinking it was people from the other world going to Mass between the two doors. So after that a lot of people wouldn't allow two doors open on Sunday at Mass time.- Collector
