About two miles from my house there is a spot called Cahir Hill. The old people have many stories about it.They say it was the dwelling place of the Danes long ago. There are caves under the hill where they were supposed to sleep.it is also believed that there is a gold mine in some part of it and a few years ago a man dreamt of the place it was in and gathered the neighbours to search for it.They were digging for a long time and found nothing.
