    And Sarsfield is the man
Here we are our general cried
And down on them we ran
For God he cleared the firmament
The moon & stars shone bright
'Twas for the battle of they Boyne
    We had revenge that night.
    5.
And when we had them all killed
    And bleeding in their gore.
'Twas then we took their arms.
    Their wagons, carts & store.
We placed them beneath the castle walls
    And set our fires nigh
'Twas that we did right speedily
And blew them in the sky.
    6.
    And pleasant spoke our General
    And fast he rode away.
And many a helllth was drank to him
    In Limerick town next day.
    Another health to Sarsfield
Who led us one and all.
And burst that big gun Sheila Dhuidhe
    Against Ballyneety wall
