This funny story is told in the district of Gortaknockeave.
One day a beggar man called to a farmer's house for something to eat the farmer's wife gave him a cut of dry bread. A sow was in the yard as the beggar man passed out. He rubbed the cut of dry bread to the sow's back. The farmer asked him why did he do that the beggar man said he wanted to get a taste of meat out of it.
