    A Funny story
A man named Tom Kane went into a public house in Tipperary and asked for a half gallon of porter, the publican had very bad corns and was scarcly able to walk.
The publican refused give it to him without the money, Tom said to him "if your heart was as your feet you would be alright".
He went down town to another Public house and asked a half gallon of Porter on his word. The Publican said he would not give it wihtout the money. Tom said 'Tis just as good to have it on the book as to having in the barrel".
