    KELLY'S FORT
    Patrick Kerwick's farm. The land on which the fort stands was owned at one time by two brothers named Kelly. In dividing the farm neither brother would give the fort to the other so a dividing fence was driven through it. Neither brother was a success. Local people who looked with horror on the division of the fort, attributed their failures to this circumstance.
