    Moyglass
    Fethard.
    There are many fairy forts in this district, they are also called raths - there is Rathvin situated about two miles from Fethard. McGraths fort, in Kilnockin, just where the race course of Kilnockin was formerly. Crannagh fort situated about a half mile east of the village of Moyglass. Magorban fort about four miles north of Fethard. Silver Fort lies about half way between Dualla and Moyglass.
    All forts I know are circular in shape, first there is a deep dike then a row of blackthorn bushes then a high mound of earth then another row of bushes, then a very deep dike then on the sides of the dike there are bushes growing, most of which are covered with ivy, then there is a high hill around which is a circle of bushes. The top of the hill is flat and in some of the forts there is a fairly deep hollow.
