  1. Chilblains:
    Take a teaspoonful of dry mustard and a teaspoonful or vaseline and mix into an ointment. Put this on the chilblains, if they are not broken and immediate relief will be felt.
    Cure for a burn:
    Get some burn-plaster and rub it to the burn. Bandage up the burn then and put some olive oil on it when opened. If burn-plaster cannot be had a good remedy is to mix equal parts of lime-water and sweet-oil and apply with a quill.
    Cure for a bleeding nose:
    Put a key down in the back
