    Thomas Ryan "The Drangan Boy. was born in or about the year 1850. in a small homestead at Curraheen in the parish of Drangan,
    [She?] had four Sisters, one of them
    became an Nun in the U.S.A.
    He went to school. "which was only. a hedge school at the time" A small house between Drangan and Mullinahone. the School Masters name was Mr. Quirke. He finished his Education at Drangan National School.
    When his schooling was finished he commenced corresponding to the local Newspapers "The. Cashel Centenal" The Celt, and other newspapers.
