    Corns:
    Rub corns with a pig tail three times and make the sign of the cross . They soon disappear.
    Earache:
    For an earache, the saph(sic) of an Ash tree is recommended. Prepare as follows: - Get a piece of an Ash tree and burn it. When it is burnt sort of oil comes from it. Put this into the ear and it will be cured.
    Sore Throat:
    To cure a sore throat heat some sugar and put it into a stocking, then put the stocking around the neck and the sore throat will go.
