The landlords agent stepped up and called to surrender and the young man shot him also. The peelers then went to arrest the young man. He took shelter behind bush and shot all the peelers. He then went to America and got a job as a stoker. A young peeler from O'Briens Bridge knew him and followed him to America. He searched several factories and at length he found him in this factory along with two other Irishmen. He whispered to his two butties and said "I'm don" and they said "You're not". They instantly seized the peeler and opened the furnace door and threw him in and he was burned to death in a few minutes. The bush is still there an it is called Henly's bush.
