   rewplace was covered with old shrubs and when it was reclaimed they called it newplace.
   In former times peas were sown in peafield and that is why it was called peafield.
   There is a well in newplace called the "boiling well". The water is always bubbling up in it. There is a white thorn tree over it and a big stone with a round hole in it by the side of it.

   In Olden times people used to cure a great number of diseases themselves. They had not to go to doctors as they have to do now. They used to gather herbs to cure their diseases. Among these herbs were dandelion and cumfery. Dandelion used to cure a pain in the back and cumfrey used to cure pains in the bones. They used
