    thirty three. He was a man six foot four inches high and sixteen stone weight.
    He was a great weight thrower. He used to throw the fifty six pound weight for height and for length and he used to throw the two stone and seven pounds also.
    He used also compete in the hundred yards race and in the two hundred and twenty and in the hurdle race. He won prizes at several sports in Nenagh, Limerick, Thurles, Borrisokane and Cashel.
    His opponents were such great men as T.F. Kiley of Carrick-on-Suir and Ryan of Newpalace and several other great men.
