  1. I'm going to sing you a little song
    I won't detain you long
    About the boys from Templederry
They are honest, brave and strong
The football team is that I mean
They've brought credit to our town
    They hav eproved themselves victorious
Which has won for them renown.
    The Ballinahinches on that day
    Were warlike to be seen
They thought they'd gain a victory
    Against our gallant team
But you might bet and dont forget
They dashed in through their lines
We won't forget the day we brought the swag
    Home from the Silvermines.
The play that day I heard them say
    Was worthy of renown
For as fast as hail before the gale
The Ball went up and down.
    All the Templederry boys
They came home in great glee.

They were sided by a great strong Host
