He plain for to be seen
    The McCormacks, Butlers, Bentons,
    And the Kennedys from Killeen.
    With O'Dwyer from Templederry
    And the O'Kellys too
    With Martin Bourke from Riverfield
    The oppressor they subdued.
    They need no idle boadting
Or they fear no hostile band
    Against any team in Ireland

The Ballinahinches we made the flinch
Which caused them for to feel

    And bring the laurels home.
Then Hurrah for poor old Erin's Isle
    Her sons were always brave
May heaven pour some belssings down
    Her people for to save.
And guard the land whereon we stand
    St. Patrick blessed of yore
May we live in peace and harmony
And keep tyrants from our shore.
