  1. Easter is one of the most joyous feasts kept by the Church because it reminds us of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ and of our resurrection on the last day.
    It is an old custom to eat a number of eggs on Easter Sunday as we have to fast from eggs during Lent and the eggs are supposed to be very plentiful.
