    There are several old sayings connected with the days of the week in my native district.

    There are several old sayings connected with the days of the week in my native district. Such as if you throw out ashes on a Monday you will be throwing out your luck for the week or to cut your nails or if you give out money on a Monday you will be giving it every day for the week.
    To sneeze three times on a Tuesday you will be very lucky for three years.
