    There are a number of old Fairy Forts in the school district.
    The following are the names of some of them - Lisboney, Lisgaroda, Lissatunny, Lismore, Lisnamoe, Lissleamy, Lisheen, Lisheenacloonta, Lisbrien, Rathurles, Rathmoy, Rathnavoge, Rathmartin, Rathmore, Ratheridodge and Rathmanna.
