    That night a wast lake sprung up and swept the whole field and this lake can be seen from the main road from Nenagh to Borrisokane and it is called Lahorna Lake.
    The reeds that are standing in the lake would remind you of stooks of corn.
    Weird stories are still told that a boat is seen at night on the lake.
    About three years ago during the warm summer months the lake went dry and hundreds of fish mostly pike perished for the want of water and were destroyed so the people would not use them as nobody cares to interfere with that lake.
