  1. Invasion By Crows.
There lived a man in Hilton House by the name of Mr Dancer. He farmed a large tract of land.
He was going on his holidays to England. He left one of his men to keep the crows from pulling the turnips.
One warm day, as he sat under a a tree watching them, he fell fast asleep. The crows came and pulled a large amount of the turnips. When he awoke he was frightened at what harm the crows had done.
All the men said he would be discharged, when the gentleman returned. He said "I'll get out of it". So when the master came home, he asked him what had happened to the turnpis.
The man told him that the Beechwood crows and the Hilton crows met and had a battle. The Hilton crows had victory over the Beechwood crows. He did not like to disturb them from the turnips.
When the master heard this, he said "more power Hilton".
