    Thade then returned to his home and found his fortune under a stone flag which contained writing and placed the stone on the hearth with the writing upwards. With the gold that he found he built the castle known as Thade's Castle. The stone remained on the hearth for some time and a "Poor Scholar" who was travelling through the country came to the house. Thade asked the "Poor Scholar" if he could read the Latin inscription which was on the stone.
