    Money is given as a dowry and is spoken of as "the fortune" Stock or goods are not given.
    The bride is supposed to arrive after the bride-groom in the Church. If the bride-groom is late in arriving, it is regarded as very unlucky. To postpone a marriage also is said to be unlucky.
    The bride must wear something borrowed, & something old. "Something borrowed, something blue.
    Something old, something New"
    Weddings are not much held now, but when the bride comes home
