    I met a Westminister scholar.
    He put his hand into his pocket and drew out a glove.
    What was the scholars name.
    Ans. Andrew.
    Blackie and Whitie went up a hill.
    Blackie came down and Whitie stayed above.
    Ans. A Hen laying an egg.
    The rich man hasnt it.
    The poor has it.
    The blind man sees it.
    The deaf man hears it.
    Ans. Nothing.
    Hairy all over and covered with skin.
    Ans. A pig.
    Over gravel I did travel.
    On the ropes I did stand.
    I rode a mare that never foaled.
    And I held the bridle in my hand.
    Ans. A ship.
    As round as a hoop
    As flat as a pan
    The whole of a woman
    The head of a man.
    Ans. A penny
