  1. Local fiars are held in streets of villages. A fair is held in this district on top of hill of Ballybrood. Luck-money is given when animal is sold. It is called 'luck'.
    When a bargain is made they spit on the hands & strike them together
    The great fair locally is 12th June.
    Special fairs are held for bonhams. Animals are marked when sold by clipping the hair of side or top.
