  1. Once there was a man and his wife living near our place. Any of the two of them never went any place for to see anything new, only to mass on Sunday's and it was not very far away from them only about a ½ a mile even they never saw their own faces, they were never in a shop or city. One day a few of the man's friends were going to to town, so they said that they would take him to show him something. When he reached the city he nearly fell in a weakness. He was carried to a shop where a lot of toys were sold when he saw all the lovely things he could not understand what
