  1. Our Holy Wells
There are two holy wells in our district. Inch St Lawrence well is situated at the back of the Church. The Blessed Virgin's well in Dromkeen is situated in Patrick Keogh's farm about a mile in from the road. Mary Magdalene's well in Ballysimon is under the branches of an oak tree in Kerley's farm. Dromkeen and Mary Magdalene's well give a cure for any ailment. Inch St. Lawrence is a cure for the sight. Offerings are often left there in memory of the rounds done there.
