On this occasion Bill Linane was working with a woman who resided in this parish.
On this day Bill went to the house for his tea. When he entered it he sat down beside the table and noticed that there was a very small bit of butter on the plate.
The woman of the house had got new spectacles and Bill thought them very strange. He asked the woman what did she want the spectacles for and she said that it was to make things big.
Bill then said "Well, will you give me a loan of them for a minute Ma'am to see could I make that bit of butter anything bigger".
