There was a very funny man called Bill Finnane living long ago. He worked in some places but he always went from house to house.
He was a very poor man.
There are many stories told about him and this is one of them.
Once he was working with a woman and she had a farm. On a certain night he went to the nearest town on some errand.
While he was there he went into a public house and when he was inside he met a Missioner and the priest said to him,
"Do you know who you are taking with you now?"
    "No" said the man.
"Well you are taking the devil with you".
"Well if I am he can pay for his own pint for I have only twopence".
