staying in the castle and when she heard the story she would not believe it.
'Galway was made to appear in the castle where this lady stayed.
One night he appeared to her and she got frightened. She begged of a priest to send away the ghost and promised him a sum of money if he did so but he refused to take it.
At any rate he succeeded in sending him away and Lady Ashton gave the priest a horse as a reward for his goodness.
Next morning the priest went to see the horse which was in the stable and to his great surprise the animal was dead.
This tale was got from Mr Patrick Power Upper Sunville Ardpatrick. 22.11.37
