    in Ballinakill and the other in Kilmacow. St. MaCua founded the Church in Kilmacow and St. Cieran the one in Ballinakill. There was a monastery about half a mile above the Church at Kilmacow.
    The round tower of 'Dysert' near Carrigeen, Croom, Co. Limk. was built about the 15th century. it is said it was the second place money was coined in Ireland. It is also believed that there is a chest or box inside that cannot be opened. To get into this round tower you would have to climb about thirty feet on a ladder to get to the entrance.
