  1. Local Place Names.
    At the back of Power's fort Dan Scully has a field called Lios a Phúca.
    Some of our fields are - the Páircín, Cúilín, Yellow Garden, Rocky field, Móinreán, Ceanntrime, Kelly's fort and Mágh-réidh.
    The Páircín is a small field.
    The Cúilín is a small corner field.
    Ceanntrime is a dry haggard.
    Mágh-réidh is a level garden.
    The Yellow Garden got that name when it was first ploughed.
    Móireán is a boggy field. Kelly's field got its name from people who once owned it.
