  1. Few people in the parish or its surroundings has never [ever?] seen strange animals.
    Sailors who are always at sea see very peculiar animals.
    It is said that every animal in the land, it also in the ocean, but from their back is a fish.
    One night an old man, grey haired, his face showed signs of trouble and worry, was coming up a road called "Peak", when he saw a serpent with fire coming out of his nose.
