  1. Composition 16th 12th 1938
There are two taliors and a dressmaker in my district.
Both taliors generally work in there own homes but when necessary they travel from house to house.
When he is making a suit for anyone, they bring him the material, and he makes the suit for them.
Tweed and serge are the principal cloth that are worn.
The principal implement used by the talior is the sewing machine, the needles the thread and the scissors
The taliors iron is supposed to be bigger than any other ordinary iron.
Shirts are things that are made in almost ? every house. Woolen cotton and flammette are the chief cloths from which shirts are made, but long ago they made from flax.
Socks and stockings are knit in almost every house.
