    She wiped from her brown perspiration.
    Remarking the day was so hot.
    And placing her basket beside her.
    She down near the gentleman sat.
    He rose and said "Pardon me madam".
    As he roughly her shoulders did pat.
    I'm sorry to have to disturb you.
    But you're sitting right down on my hat.
    She rose from her seat with reluctance.
    And then she replied with disdain.
    "Young man on the rack you should place it.
    and not on the seat of the train".
    The hat it was now like a pancake.
    His efforts to restore it were vain.
    Then she said "You'll mind it the next time.
    You won't throw it on the seat of the train".
