    E. H. Poe. Hosford, Esq. stating that he wished to go to America with his brother. The agent in reply stated that if he did he would raise the rent of our farm to forty pounds. Our rent at that time was fifteen pounds. Imagine forty pounds for the grass of six Kerry cows. We have the aforementioned type-written letter still in our possession to prove this. The Land League was the first body to bring Delmege to his knees.
