    The blackbird's nest is made of hay and mud, and is generally found on a hedge or in a brake of briars. She lays four blue eggs with brown spots on them
    The water-hen makes her nest in a dry part of the bog were the grass is fairly high. She lays medium-sized eggs, white with green spots on them.
