    ago a man was going down into this room, and he said that something caught him by the coat and shoved him up. He got a great fright, and ran to Mr. Kelly's house and told his story, but, after that, he would not venture near the fort unless somebody was with him.
    There are also several other forts, but they are of no importance. They are small, with low fences around them.
    These forts are supposed to have been built long ago by the Danes to protect their armies, but the old people say it was houses that were in them.
